What does OpenPath do?
People tell us what they are looking for and what monthly payment range works. We help identify homes and purchase options that may fit, including seller financing when a traditional mortgage is not the path.
Is OpenPath a lender?
OpenPath is not a lender. We do not guarantee financing, approval, or a sale.
How do I start if I want a home?
Register and share your budget and the area you want. We use that to look for homes that may fit.
What is a showing?
A showing is a visit to a home. It is not an approval, and it is not an agreement to buy.
Is registration the same as an application?
No. You register first. An application, if one is needed, is a later step.
What is seller financing?
The seller may accept payments over time instead of the full price at closing. It is not the same as a bank mortgage. Terms are real only in a written agreement.
Does every home offer seller financing?
No. It depends on the property and on whether that seller wants to offer it. A traditional mortgage may still be the path.
I own a property. What can I do here?
A conventional sale is one path. Seller financing and other structures may be discussed. When you choose to, share the property details on the sell page. That page is not an offer to purchase your home, and it does not promise a price.
Which South Carolina areas are described here?
Two markets: Greater Columbia / Midlands, and Greenville / Upstate. Anderson is part of the Upstate area. Columbia, Lexington, Irmo, and nearby Midlands communities are part of Greater Columbia / Midlands.

We record the introduction so an operator can review it. The form does not send an automated message.
When do purchase terms become real?
