Why OpenPath exists
Traditional real estate works for many people. Some buyers, owners, landlords, agents, and investors still need another path when a standard loan, a standard listing, or a standard timeline does not fit.
About OpenPath
OpenPath is the marketplace for properties and buyers when the traditional real-estate transaction doesn't fit.
Traditional real estate works for many people. Some buyers, owners, landlords, agents, and investors still need another path when a standard loan, a standard listing, or a standard timeline does not fit.
OpenPath is a marketplace for those situations. It connects people and properties. It is not a single financing product, and it is not a promise that a transaction will happen.
Buyers can register before they find a specific house. Owners can describe a property before a buyer is in hand. OpenPath looks for possible matches and leaves the decision with the people involved.
A traditional sale, seller financing, a lease-purchase, and other flexible structures may each be relevant. The right one depends on the property and the people. OpenPath does not pick one structure for everyone.
OpenPath starts in South Carolina by building meaningful concentrations of properties and buyers in the same markets: the Midlands and the Upstate. A wider map comes after those markets have enough of both.
The long-term idea is a marketplace that can serve more markets once supply and demand are real in the first ones. That expansion is a direction, not a claim that it has already happened.
